Rather talk to someone?
Tanjong Katong opened in 2009 in a quiet corner of the Boscombe Road estate. The surroundings are calm — which turns out to suit creativity and imagination rather well.
It is our most intimate campus, and parents consistently mention the same thing: because it is small, families get to know most of the teachers and most of the other children. The community that builds up around it is a genuine one.
A team of fourteen educators runs the full ShawsPlay curriculum here, with the same hands-on, outdoor, bilingual approach as every other Shaws school.

The small size of the Katong campus made it feel intimate. We really like the sense of community that’s been built here.
It’s a small school with lots of personal interaction, so everyone knows everyone. Our girls absolutely love their teachers.

Yes. Children pick up English and Mandarin through play, stories, songs and everyday routines, woven through the day rather than taught as a separate drill.
Everything is cooked in our own kitchen: no pork, no beef, no processed food and 100% whole-grain rice. Vegetarian and no-salt options are available, and we check allergies with every family before a child starts.
